To be honest I can not really see how an hour is going to help much. I blame the ECB you and would have thought they could of come up with a fixture list that would give all the teams at least a day off before the final. The fixtures list over the passed few seasons have been a farce and I am not sure the proposals for next season will help although that remains to be seen.

Next season will see T20 run season long mainly on Friday Evenings to maximize attendance.

Championship will mainly start on a Sunday with Saturdays as a travelling day.

CB40 will be replaced by a new 50 over competition which will not include Scotland,Netherlands & Unicorns.

Re Notts early start .
All academic now , Durham only need 62 to win the match and title .Unless the weather intervenes , Notts will be able to travel to London this evening (Thursday) and have Friday to prepare for Saturday's final.
Has a Yorkshire supporter I have absolutely no problem with the 10.15am start to assist Notts .The "advantage" for Durham if there was any ,is very debatable and borders on paranoia .Moxon ought to know better , it was only a couple of years ago Yorkshire faced a similar travel dilemna when traveling from Scarborough to the Rose Bowl overnight for a Semi-Final in the C&G cup .
The one the players nearly missed the scheduled start of ,,due to the Yorkshire coach driver being "out of hours" with his legal driving allotment .
You may remember Geoffrey Boycott saying on commentary "The coach driver should be sacked !"
Then it later transpired that Yorkshire CCC had been too tight to pay for 2 drivers to "share" the driving hours for the trip .The result was a total embarrassment .With the Yorkshire players having to organise taxis from their overnight hotel or beg lifts from fans and journalists .

Yes just to add a bit more, yet to be agreed but CB40 will be played during Jul and Aug. Assume some T20 and CC will also be played at this time. The CC games will revert to Wed-Sat towards the end of the season. Hopefully it will be a better structure and punters will have a better idea of when games are likely to start.

Nice gesture by Durham to let fans in for free for last day if they lift title.

Colly has turned Durham's fortunes around. After 10 games last year they were 23 points adrift at the bottom of the table,Colly took over the captaincy from Mustard & they won the next 4 to equal the club record, were denied a 5th due to rain & won the last

That's 3 titles in 6 years,& you wouldn't bet against another back to back run which they last did in 2008 & 2009.

Yes very impressive from record from the newest of the 18 counties.

It seems the 2nd promotion place in div 2 will go the last game has both games at chelmsford and northants are rain affected with both teams closing over 4 sessions. northants need to pick up points that take them beyond 24 point gap to essex if essex beat hampshire. northants have had a cracking season, on the verge of promotion and T20 champions with David Willey destorying Surrey in the final with 60 of about 27 balls and 9-4 also despatching dernbach for 20 in one over after the rain break.

Surrey are relegated to Div 2 after trying to set up a game against Warwickshire in which both side Forfeited an innings.Warwickshire chased down a generous target of 281 for the loss of only 4 wickets after being in trouble at 126-4.
