There are worrying signs for Australia right now but as an Englishman its nice to know the boot is on the other foot for a change.
Aussies have had some pretty woeful spinners since warne the worst being the one who appeared in the last Ashes I cant remember his name tho? It wasnt Hauritz or beer if it helps

Nottinghamshire's James Taylor or Yorkshire's Gary Ballance could replace injured Kevin Pietersen for the third Ashes Test at Old Trafford. He suffered a calf strain in the last test.

Ballance wont let anyone down,I suspect England wont give a debut though.
You could do worse than pick a Yorkshire 11.I'd back them against this team.
A 2nd spinner in would be helpful at Old Trafford,Samit Patel could do a job.

Thanks guys, there pretty poor stats im pretty sure he was only bought in because of Pietersens fallibility against left arm spin, then again it wouldnt suprise me if his only wickets where that of kevin's lol.

Australia start a 3 day match against Sussex,who will have James Taylor in their side,playing at England' request which is a strong indication that he is the player who would come in for KP if he isn't fit.
Places are up for grabs in the Australia side for the 3rd Test.Clarke,Watson,Rogers,Haddin,Siddle & Harris are all rested.Cowan will captain the side after being dropped after the 1st Test.Wade is pushing for a place as a batsman,Starc,Bird & Faulkner will be looking to impress to replace Pattinson,& the 3 spinners Lyon,Agar & Turner will fight it out for a spot.
Speaking of fighting,Warner will region the squad after making 193 against South Africa A.

Warner looks like he will be in the mix for the 3rd test, one Aussie who is always up for the fight (quite literally) lol.

Rumours are not Warner could play in the 3rd Test batting at No.6,but who do they drop.Smith has just made a century in the tour match & with Hughes making runs as an opener rogers place could be at risk.Hughes has already batted in just about every position already on this tour.Australia really don't know their best six batsmen or what order to play them in.
On the bowling front Lyon must play as their first choice spinner.then it's a straight pick between Left armers Starc or Faulkner who has more potential with the bat,but would be a risk giving him his debut or if they are concerned with creating rough for Swann to exploit,Jackson Bird would be safer option.
