I didn't Sad Chicago lost yet again and are 5-10 now. Think I should be their next head coach as I do the official NFL Fantasy Football and my NFL Fantasy Team Ramsbottom Raiders had a fantastic 2014 season. In my 10 team league I finished 4th with an 8-6 record which got me in the championship playoffs and I subequently......WON!!!!!! the 2014 playoff championship Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin which came as a complete shock

I've given myself the obligatory dunking in Gatorade laugh

Lynch and Wilson playing insane at the moment. But also impressed sunday with Richardson and Turbin for Seattle. They will take some stopping.

Very hard on Dallas.
12-4 record and still having to play a wild card game. Should they win that than they have a pleasent little visit to the frozen tundra of Green Bay. The football gods are certainly determined to stop cowboys winning the super bowl.

Quite a few nfl head coaches have lost their jobs today in what is known as "Black Monday" (the first Monday after the regular season finished. Atlanta Falcons have sacked their head coach, as also have New York Jets and no surprise for me Chicago Bears have sacked their head coach and General Manager

Also San francisco 49ers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh has left the 49ers to take the same position at Michigan

^ I don't think that it's a promotion Rammy

Jim Harbaugh, who went 44-19-1 in his four seasons with the 49ers, had one year remaining on his contract.

But the team failed to perform to expectation and Harbaugh was in perminent conflict with and general manager Trent Baalke.

^^^
Never said it was a promotion, just said Harbaugh has taken the same position at Michigan that he had at the 49ers

$40+ million over 6 years to coach at a school where you're already a bit of legend (he played QB for them) at first sounds like a good deal. BUT, he's inheriting quite a poor roster of players and a once powerhouse of a footballing school on a steady decline. He's going to have an over expectant fanbase on his back picking over his every move whilst he's trying to recruit and convince player/students to go to Michigan. I think its going to be a struggle, definitely a long term rebuild.

And Mike Smith has finally gone, something Falcon fans have been discussing since Wembley back in October. Whilst he has done some good things for the Falcons I personally think it was time for him to go. I think Dimitroff needs to shoulder some blame, he's made some bad recruiting decisions since starting in 2008. 10 wins out of our last 32 games is just not good enough and we won't even go in to the playoff chokes in seasons previous to our last two. Its hard to see where are next coach will come from, I know there are a number of them now in the queue at the job center but they're all their for one reason. Please God, don't let us sign Rex Ryan Big Grin

I don't know if it will go any where but just wondering if it's worth having a 2014-15 NFL play offs prediction competition. One point for correctly predicting the winner of each match up, plus a bonus point for predicting who will win by the biggest margin each week.

Arizona Cardinals at Carolina Panthers
Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers
Cincinnati Bengals at Indianapolis Colts
Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys

Wild card winners
Panthers
Steelers
Colts
Cowboys

Biggest winning margin
Colts.

Obviously retrospective predictions don't count

RE: NFL 2014/2015 season - Whynot - 30-12-2014 23:19

winners:
Arizona
Steelers
colts
Lions

biggest winning margin:

steelers

Winners:

Cards
Steelers
Colts
Lions

Biggest Winning Margin:
Steelers

And just to play Septic Pegg and look a little deeper in to my crystal ball I think the Lions/Cowboys will be the closest score margin with the Cards/Panthers being the lowest total scoring game
