Apologies for the delay in responding and for a relatively sombre tone to the opening remarks.
This recognition means an awful lot to me especially at the present time.
Unbeknown to any of you I have been weighed down with worry recently as my father has been diagnosed with cancer and treatment is ongoing.
I am close to my Dad and at a time when I am in emotional turmoil any piece of good news in my life such as this means such a lot.
Maybe rationally so maybe not but it does nonetheless.
While I regard the cappers, vid posters and pic posters as the real heroes of this place I am immensely thankful that the power of the written word is deemed worthy of recognition and even more grateful that this award has been bestowed to me for a second time. It is deeply humbling.
I was not expecting this award to come my way again in all honesty and the gratitude I feel now is all the stronger as a result. I am very touched by your kindness.
I bid you all a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous, successful but above all else a healthy 2016.
