I'm watching this live now. It concludes this evening.
Debutant Yan Bingtao is on a role and the commentators seem to favour his chances over those of John Higgins.
But there's another story. That, so the BBC have revealed, is that whilst Bingtao is accompanied by his manager, he has no friends or family members here with him. And now Bingtao's girlfriend has arrived from China. And he doesn't know she's here
