I seee that Nigel Farage is leaving UKIP.
I thought that he'd left years ago.

He's going to join the government when Boris becomes PM (JOKE)

One of the reasons he has cited for leaving is the appointment of Tommy Robinson as an advisor.

Lets not kid ourselves Farage and Robinson are on the same page, Farage just knows that politics is about perception and Robinson is too toxic to have if you want to be a party that is taken seriously.

I just find it funny that a man that has spent his career blowing dog whistles is somehow dismayed when a dog comes running

The future of UKIP

The anti Brexit march in London on Sunday organised by UKIP had their new golden boy Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (Tommy Robinson) as a speaker. The Brexit issues can be discussed elsewhere but I'm interested in what people think about the direction UKIP now seem to be taking.

Over the last few days a number of prominent UKIP members have left the Party. 2 past leaders - Nigel Farage & Paul Nuttall have left. David Coburn their leader in Scotland resigned as well as Gerard O'Flynn. All have done so because of the appointment of Yaxley-Lennon and the anti-islamic direction that the current leader Gerrard Batten is taking the party.

Any thoughts?

UKIP is no longer an independant party with a sole aim to get out of the EU. It's now been taken over by activists. It's not the only party this has happened to.
It has now become part of the English Defense League

Avoid at your peril bladewave

Chris Huhne served 9 weeks of an eight month sentence for PCoJ... Let's see what this "stupid woman" gets laugh

I'm amazed the likes of Owen Jones haven't defended her like they did with her colleague with the Drug Dealing soon the other week.

Yet another dodgy politician who thought they were above the law, hopefully she will get her comeuppance.
