RE: Star Trek Picard - *Kal-El* - 05-03-2020 22:24 Loved last weeks Ep 6, throwing in references to The Best of Both Worlds, Star Trek First Contact, DS9 and Star Voyager a early Ep reference with that device that could have sent them light years (Ep 10 Prime Factors) the fact the Borg Queen got there technology. But image where they superimpose Loctutus face over Picards face not only was creepy but haunting and knowing from the previous Ep with Seven of Nine where bother characters have never truly recovered. The speech he says reminded me of the one he said in First Contact and seeing Picard suffering from PTSD but it’s meet you with Hugh that was so heart warming. But that Borg calling Picard Loctutus again was creepy. Plus this so far that Ep has the longest runtime. RE: Star Trek Picard - *Kal-El* - 06-03-2020 00:18 Ep 7 what a let down RE: Star Trek Picard - Rammyrascal - 06-03-2020 00:27 S1 ep 7 Nepenthe Picard & Soji go to the planet Nepenthe and Picard is reunited with Troi & Riker as Hugh & Elnor attempt to survive on the Borg Cube/Artefact from Narissa & the Tal Shiar who want to find out where Picard & Soji went RE: Star Trek Picard - *Kal-El* - 06-03-2020 00:46 Ep 7 “ Nepenthe” Season 1 The biggest saving grace of the Ep was seeing Riker and Troi, the chemistry between them Picard and Soji was fantastic. Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis performances were great really reminded me of the next gen and there’s a little surprise with the Riker family and one heart ache. The little references to Data and Star Trek music thought out the Ep was great. What didn’t work for me why Picards new crew seem to so thick as what’s going on when compare it to how Riker was able to piece things together and my last gripe with the Ep and sometimes in parts in the series is they fucking over old characters just feels like there doing it for shock value and a big fuck you. With there only being a couple Eps left and second season they still need to work on the pacing of the show. Overall Picard gets a thumbs up from me RE: Star Trek Picard - Stemmw - 06-03-2020 14:00 (06-03-2020 00:27 )Rammyrascal Wrote: S1 ep 7 Nepenthe Tal Shiar ? Aren't they the Zhat Vash, the secret organisation that hates synthetic lifeforms ? I think Seven's arc is quite good and with the trailer for the next episode looks like it might go up another level. I'm guessing Seven and the Rangers might stage some kind of XB liberation/revolution, if so that could be very good. The Romulans with Narissa hunting Hugh & Elnor were in the Tal Shiar. Yeah can see why Icheb & Hugh could be said to have been “fucked over”. Seven definately hasn’t & can’t wait to see what happens with her next week & hope Seven is in s2 RE: Star Trek Picard - *Kal-El* - 08-03-2020 01:54 I want one of Rikers pizzas lol RE: Star Trek Picard - Rammyrascal - 09-03-2020 20:09 Jeri Ryan has tweeted this sneak preview pic of Seven in this weeks episode a few minutes ago |
