Sodana Sukona nihon!! Magnificent sublime Japan!! Let nobody suggest - expected better from J Schmidt - that Ireland lost it. JAPAN WON IT!! with fantastic commitment, resolve and no little skill!! It has blown the group apart, and brings Scotland back - if only for a few hours ( I think they will lose to Samoa to be honest - (can't be as bad again, as in their first match - but even so, think they are gone!! - Japan will certainly beat them on this showing!) I don't like the sequence of tie breakers, as bonus points are secondary to points for/against or try difference, in my book!
There is something wrong somewhere, if a team can win 3 out of 4 group games, and face elimination! For Japan to face the same potential fate, as befell them four years ago, would be unjust to say the least!! Had they secured all their kicks, the margin would have been wider today!!

It would be a shame if the group was decided by tie breakers s it would undo a lot of the hard work teams would have done to qualify

Just finished watching a recording of the Arg v Tonga match! If ever a team handed victory to the opposition, this was the one!! Ludicrous options, and ridiculous passing in the first 20 mins blew it for Tonga. Otherwise, they win, They were the only team playing 2nd half!

What a comeback from the Wallabies 2nd half! Not enough in the end, but Wales now know what it is going to take to get them over the line when the biggest matches come around! Were never going to cruise in this game, but at half - time, must have thought that managing that lead would have ben a damn site easier than it turned out!!
Shame for Uruguay after their heroics the other day!! Just too quick a turnaround once more!! Maybe need to reduce groups to 4 team each to allow for more rest?? 2nd tiers still getting the rough end, despite IRB promises after England 2015!!
