There has been a Legend Of Adult Entertainment Award for the last 4 years, which is probably what you're thinking of.
The winners were in 2016 Mary Millington, in 2017 Mike Freeman, in 2018 Ben Dover and in 2019 Linsey Dawn Mckenzie.

I agree. She deserves her own accolade all on her own really, such was her pioneering effort and the force of her libertarian spirit up against a more conservative establishment in the 1970s. She could almost be considered to have been a kind of libertarian political activist of sorts with the sex shop she had which kept being raided by the police (each time they confiscated her sales stock, she'd just re-stock again).

at the conclusion of nominations last time.Last year 278 members took the trouble to reply to UKAP's private message, nominating their favourites. As may be deduced from the content of ryuken's
comment we now have an additional 3000 members (given the total includes members joined over so many years).I have commented in Studio 66's chat concerning voting for some of those I have nominated and intend to do the same tomorrow afternoon when Charmaine
(seeded number 1 in my list) appears on screen.I am proud that UK Adult Producers
have chosen to work so closely with our forum 278 may seem a small proportion but as may be discovered by reading last years thread, when the voting itself started votes were cast so enthusiastically by members that UKAP were unable to keep up!

^A better way to look at it is that yesterday there were just over 1,000 members on the forum. So you can assume that we have about 2,000 regular contributors at best.
On those figures 278 nominations isn't that bad.
