The win secures the NFC West title & a place in the Playoffs.
Seattle hung in, but the game wasn't as close as the score line suggests. The home team scored a late TD, & then the 49ers ran out the clock on the Seattle goal-line.
The Niners also missed a field goal & had a defensive TD ruled out after a penalty.
Rookie QB Purdy looked composed again, as he played carrying the injury from last week. 100 rushing yards & a TD for McCaffery, who also had 6 catches. Kittle had 4 receptions for 93 yards & 2 TDs.
The main story was the 49er defense who kept the Geno Smith high scoring offense relatively quit.
