India had a bit of a scare, as Bangladesh looked on top before the rain stopped a brilliant innings from Das in its tracks. When the chase resumed under a revised DLS target, & reduced to 16 overs, Das was run out, they came up agonizingly short. Earlier, the Tigers did a decent job to restrict India on a good batting surface.

^ The tigers were a little unlucky - it is true Booms, but I have to assume they knew the DLS equation, so to fall just 5 short - although it has happened before - maybe they miscalculated??

^^ They panicked a bit in the chase but could've made a lot more out of playing in wet conditions. Das slipped & was run out.

Unfortunately, they did!! And as you say, Das slipped (but what a player they have found in him......destined for a decent career I think. Has been said before and proved to be short lived. Let us hope Das can take a different path)

That was a bonkers game of cricket.
South Africa didn't help themselves though by virtue of some awful fielding errors.
The match itself had a bit of everything though.
Some great stuff, some dodgy stuff and some downright loony bin stuff too.

New Zealand progress to the Semi-finals, after beating Ireland. Australia just beat Afghanistan but failed to lift their net run-rate above England, so only an England loss to Sri Lanka will see Australia through. Unless there's a no result due to weather.
