Salt dropped on 7 & goes on to produce a match winning innings of 87 not out. Bairstow 48 not out added an unbroken 97 runs with Salt.
It almost feels like the tournament has just started for England, this will be a good confidence booster ahead of what I see as a sterner test against South Africa on Friday.

A great game of ebb & flow, difficult to be too critical, the respective 6 over Powerplays appeared to have a big bearing on the eventual winner, South Africa manage 63-0, mostly from the bat of de Kock, whilst England had their lowest of the year, 41-1.

^^ It all depends on who win in the South Africa v West Indies match. If West Indies win, England would be required to increase their net run rate by a small margin, but if South Africa remain unbeaten England would require a significate win over USA. It will not be helped as England play their match first, so will have no idea what they need to achieve.
