The cut-off point for Pension Credit is around £218 per week for a single pensioner, so if you get a little more than that, you lose the Winter Fuel Payment and as the new Government has refused to rule out abolishing the single-person Council Tax discount, you may also get clobbered by that.

Labour are playing it smart because if they discount things out now then what next its blatent scare mongering
I guess the budget will see a rise in the cut off point for Pension Credit same with the likes of carer allowance and prob walloping capital gains tax puttng the same as income tax
