I don't think he was moaning about the safety car itself, he was moaning about the speed of the driver. They have to try and maintain a certain speed to keep tyre temperature and pressure. The driver's are encouraged to report back of any potential problems, and there were other messages besides Lewis reporting of the same problem.

Vettel was given 3 points on his licence as well as the stop-go penalty. That's him on 9 points now so he will need to be careful.

The British Drivers' Racing Club and Silverstone have triggered their two-year break clause with Formula 1. It means that without a new agreement, the last British Grand Prix at the circuit would be 2019.
The British GP is the best attended but still makes a loss. All the other GP's are backed financially by their governments.
