If Giggs did take on the job full - time could he even tempt Cantona to work with him? Even at least by appointing Giggs full time they would have kept it in - house and that could only be a good thing, and Giggs. I'm sure would be a popular choice amongst the fans, and may I dare say it, probably even Bryan Robson would too.
Sven expresses an interest in every job that comes up. He would not be up to the job. As for Giggs, perhaps in the future but I believe they are going for someone with a lot more managerial experience this time.
