How do you know the quotes are from a ‘comic book’? I find this claim to be most curious.. Almost as curious as the fact that you and the other poster, who before now having never made a single contribution to this thread, suddenly appear and make very similar sounding pedantic criticisms with ‘comic’ references... "Watchmen" is highly regarded in the comics industry, even being described as the best comic ever published. It's been a critical and commercial success and the film adaptation has performed better than some of the Batman films and other films based on DC comics. The goatman quotes happen to be well known Watchmen lines, even if you aren't familiar with them. RE: Fascinating Facts and Trivia - GMach1 - 14-01-2019 14:09 My facts come from two sources, my memory of things I've learnt over the years and where possible I will quote the source like the early QI stuff which was sourced from the quotes made in the Daily Mail. I don't restrict people quoting stuff from books, magazines or comics, it comes under the auspices of fascinating and trivia so it can be included. Pop groups have frequently borrowed from various places like Duran Duran(from Barbarella's Durand Durand) and The Teardrop Explodes from a comic so I doubt anyone is really going to worry that a quote has been lifted from a comic book. Everything fascinating and trivial is welcome here as our new contributors.
