There was no injunction. The Times - a Murdoch paper - spiked the story when asked to (not even threatened) by the government. Remember that the next time they claim to be a reliable news source.

BTW HP I can only see him attending one of the by election areas by heliciopter or private jet so to avoid the railways Tongue Hope Starmer Rips who ever takes PMQ's to pieces.

Not bloody likely....

Well the first question at PMQ’s from a Labour backbencher was essentially this and Johnson’s reply ignored the question completely as he ranted about employment levels

1. Admit that he tried to get her a job.
2. Lie and break the ministial code again.
3. Say that he can't remember
4. Waffle, deflect and then attack Starmer about the rail strikes or mention how well he's done with Brexit.

Yes it was indeed option no4. At least he didn't lie to parliament, he just didn't answer the question.

Which effectively is an admission that he had.

If only he had an ethics advisor.Cool

Seems evidence is appearing substantiating the claim. Of course it is. The government might be able to put their hand over the Times’ mouth, but there are plenty of curious journalists out there. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/jun/21/evidence-exists-that-pm-tried-to-get-top-job-for-carrie-johnson-says-source?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other

The Daily Mirror were reporting yesterday that when Prime Minister he tried to get her appointed to a paid role at Cop26 and also a role as Head of Communications for the Duke & Duchesss of Cambridges' Earth Shot Challenge.

Her nickname of Carrie Antoinette becomes more realistic by the day.
