Yes biggles but it's the thought that count's, if an explanation was given I doubt the words we are using would be quite as harsh, this is just the straw that broke the camel's back. Like Rammy said when this happens on other channels you allways get an explanation from one of the reps, why should Storm be any different, the criticism aimed at them is in every way justifiable. They have let a lot of people down tonight and it's not good enough that no reason has been given other than the onscreen message saying they will return soon and that means fuck all when it's been off for hours now.

If there's a staff shortage they were always going to be off air for hours, that's inevitable. It would have been better PR to say something more than the onscreen message saying they will return soon, but at the end of the day it's entirely up to Storm what information they give out. If they choose to say nothing more than the onscreen message I don't think they should be criticised for that. It's not great PR but it's their choice to do things that way. Instead of making a drama out of it, let's just hope I'm right about it being a temporary 'staff shortage' and nothing more. Storm have a great lineup of girls in my opinion, so hopefully they will be back on air before long.

I'm not taking sides but, given the way some forum members talk about these channels on here, do people really expect 'thoughtfulness' from them? Channel was off - I read a book. [sorted]

Storm officals are not obliged to come on the forum and explain what is happening.

But if they want to keep their regular clients they should be updating both the caption on screen and their website

http://stormbabes.tv/home.php

But so far there has been zero response.

Point taken, but as has been said before, other channels would have apologised and/or come up with an explanation as to why there was no service. The lack of communication does Storm no favours and indeed for me shows them in a bad light.

As for thoughtfulness, I stopped believing them to be capable of this the day one of their reps decided to behave like a giant muppet when asked a simple and reasonable question which only needed a simple yes/no answer.

Charlemagne is right, Storm are not obliged to come here and explain what is happening. It would be good PR if they did, but Storm alone decide on whether PR is important to them or not.

Anyway I hope it really is a temporary problem and that they return soon, in which case I look forward to seeing more of Roxy Belle. Heart

I cannot betray confidences but she has not walked because of last night's fiasco and we will have to wait and see if she returns.

I cannot defend the Storm Channel and feel they should have expalined the reason why there was no show but since the departure of Morgan absence they are struggling to fill the evening slots due to the shortage of girls. Hannah, Cali and Elle seem to have been working overtime and if one of them cried off last night then it is doubtful they would have cover.

Storm may have problems but I have noticed since the New Year on most channels there are numerous occasions when the girls have no callers and therefore revenue must be down considerably other than XXP who operate on a cheaper call system.

We are all suffering from the recession other than the Mega Rich and Premiership footballers and perhaps the channels should follow XXP line and reduce the cost of calls, they can always raise them at a later date.

Morgan were possibly Storm's top girls for receiving calls and they will need to remedy this quickly if they wish to survive.

yes storm dont have to come on and explain, but would have been nice for them to do so. all the other channels do it so why not storm

I must say I find the comments about Storm's 'right' not to tell us anything to be ludicrous and a waste of pixels. What's the point in making such a statement? It's stating the obvious for no reason apart from trying to defend indefensible behaviour. Of course it's their right to do what they want, so what?

It's also the consumers' right to complain if they feel that a company is not acting properly, and in fact companies are obliged to communicate properly with their customers for sound commercial reasons.

If we adopted the attitude that companies can do what they want and not be criticised or questioned then nothing would ever improve.

Example: Storm/Paradiso have operated their studio with a faulty mic for around two years. A replacement mic and pre-amp would cost £100 tops, yet the channel has chosen not to replace it.

It's certainly their choice and their right not to replace it and they're not obliged to replace it, but that doesn't detract from the fact that they're fucking idiots by not doing so, and forum members have every right to express their annoyance about it.

The channel rep was online here last night but made a conscious choice not to communicate with his customers about why there was no show. It was the wrong choice.

To be fair, the PR from most of the babe channels is pretty dreadful.
