RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - terence - 15-07-2017 14:24 bet konta's pissed right now! RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Doddle - 15-07-2017 16:19 Muggy-mania is running wild! RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Mellow - 16-07-2017 15:31 Roger Federer is Wimbledon Champion for a record 8th time after beating Marin Cilic 6-3 6-1 6-4 RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Charlemagne - 16-07-2017 17:01 At least we have a winner and runner up in the Mixed Competition. Jamie Murray and Heather Watson. It's a shame that they didn't pair off together. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Mellow - 16-07-2017 17:07 Jamie Murray and Martina Hingis have won the Mixed Doubles title, defeating Henri Kontinen and Heather Watson 6-4 6-4 RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - HannahsPet - 17-07-2017 16:31 Andy Murray still number one in the world and Johanna Konta now world no4 after wimbledon success Not sure we have ever had 2 players ranked so high in the rankings RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - mikedafc - 28-07-2017 20:45 Novak is out for the rest of the year due to his elbow problem that forced his retirement from his match at Wimbledon RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - mikedafc - 16-08-2017 18:19 I see Sharapova has been given a wild card into US Open. Nadal has overtaken Murray as World Number 1 RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Doddle - 17-08-2017 12:55 I see Nishikori has joined Djokovic and Wawrinka in having to take time off, and with Federer and Murray among the walking wounded, it looks like a clear field for Nadal and anyone with a racquet who can stand up long enough RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Regenerated - 19-08-2017 23:13 Yeah should be a real chance for one of the outside contenders to make the final. Especially as there's doubts over Cilic's fitness aswell. If they can avoid each other in the two halves of the draw, and assuming Nadal makes the final, Dimitrov could be worth a bet to join him. The Bulgarian is in great form reaching the Cincinnatti masters final and is well overdue a slam final. As for other contenders - Querrey showed his prowess at Wimbledon and Kyrgios, if he can keep his head together, has a shot. Probably about time someone from outside the Big Four made their name in these slams. |
