RE: Blu Ray Recommendations - rpj316 - 10-09-2017 13:44 An essential pic for Metallica fans,Metallica Francis Pour Une Nuit Arénes de Nimes(09/07/09) I bought the region free French version(so all the info on the box, disc and programme itself is in French)but there's an English version available as well.At £7 from a market in Leeds, the price was so good I didn't care what language the text was in to be honest. All filmed in HD with incredible 7.1 atmosphere surround, the audio against the beautiful historic Roman amphitheatre setting makes it even more spectacular. Setlist Blackened Creeping Death Fuel Harvester Of Sorrow Fade To Black Broken,Beat and Scarred Cyanide Sad But True One All Nightmare Long The Day That Never Comes Master Of Puppets Dyers Eve Nothing Else Matters Enter Sandman Stone Cold Crazy Motorbreath Seek And Destroy Extras : Interviews Behind the scenes 3 videos RE: Blu Ray Recommendations - *Kal-El* - 16-09-2017 17:09 Highly recommend Star Trek Beyond on Blu Ray, not only a good film but felt more like a Star Trek film then the previous film. The picture quality looks gorgeous not only highly detailed images but the colours really stand out especially on the Starfleet uniforms. Sound quality again outstanding to get the best benefits of this have it hooked up to home cinema system it really enhances the movie. Extras: *Deleted Scenes *Beyond The Darkness: Story Origins. *Enterprise Takedown: Destroying an Icon. *Trekking In The Dessert: On Location in Dubi. *To Live Long & Prosper: 50 Years of Star Trek. *For Leonard & Anton* And More. Plus you get a Digital Copy of the film and most places it's only £5 which is what I paid, Asda are selling it for part of there two Blu Rays for a tenner range. RE: Blu Ray Recommendations - Rammyrascal - 18-09-2017 15:50 Alien: Covenant (HMV Exclusive Steelbook) Get 2 discs & 3 versions of the film (4K Bluray, Bluray & Ultraviolet Digital Copy) with plenty of extras RE: Blu Ray Recommendations - *Kal-El* - 18-09-2017 17:49 Highly recommend Jason Bourne not only is the picture transfer crisp and clear but with fast pace action scenes the level of detail holds up. The sound as well is very impressive again you'll benefit from having a home cinema system to enhance the sound it's so good you can actually hear bones breaking and necks being snapped. Bonus Features are: *Bringing Back Matt Damon As Bourne. *Bare-Knickle Boxing. *Close Quarters Combat *Underground Rumble *The Athens Escape *Convention Chaos *Shutting Down The Las Vegas Strip. Plus you get a digital download of the movie. You can pick up the movie for a £5 which is bloody good bargain or part of 2 for £10 deal like I did. RE: Blu Ray Recommendations - Rammyrascal - 20-09-2017 13:43 Batman & Harley Quinn (Limited Edtion) Released to celebrate 25yrs Of Harley Quinn (Harley first appearance in DC is September 1992 in Batman: The Animated Series) Get the film on Blu-ray with a good amount of extras, a digital copy of the film plus a limited edition collectible Harley Quinn figure in her classic black & red jester outfit RE: Blu Ray Recommendations - rpj316 - 25-09-2017 19:08 Bought a couple of good ones today Wonder Woman(2017)£15 via pre mail order. Can't add much more about the film as anyone who has seen it knows that its a superlative effort. Looks particular stunning in 4K. Extras : Featurettes Deleted scenes Extended scenes Blooper reel Easter eggs In keeping with that theme I also snapped up Supergirl : Season 2(2016/17)for £25 in Granger Games. Manages to keep the emphasis on strong female characters with Melissa Benoist consistently proving that she was made for this role,I was not keen on the Gaurdian subplot but otherwise a superb season. Also could have done with more extras to back up with what are already available. Extras : Commentary Featurette RE: Blu Ray Recommendations - Rammyrascal - 25-09-2017 22:53 ^ that's very early to get wonder woman as ive ordered the hmv exclusive steel book for it and it's not out till oct 9 (2 weeks today) RE: Blu Ray Recommendations - rpj316 - 26-09-2017 00:29 (25-09-2017 22:53 )Rammyrascal Wrote: that's very early to get wonder woman as ive ordered the hmv exclusive steel book for it and it's not out till oct 9 (2 weeks today) Sorry for the late reply Rammy.Yeah I know its an overseas order service I use.I was lucky in getting it.Your HMV exclusive may have better extras. The other release date I had was the 4th of October. RE: Blu Ray Recommendations - rpj316 - 26-09-2017 11:32 Dropped on a great bargain this morning at local market.Found The Big Knife(1955)for just £6. A slightly dated but still scathing attack on the studio system in Hollywood. With terrific turns from Jack Parlance,Ida Lupino and Rod Steiger.
