Chris Hoy was a good guest, surprised they didn't mention Ranulph Fiennes about Antarctica. That KotH looked crazy.

Good return this week, nice to see Rory getting more airtime in Cuba.

Is that the first ever review for a SsangYong? Tongue I would presume most viewers would have been more positive about that than Eddie Jordan was.

The Shaman 8-wheeler was fun stuff, too. And Jay Kay a serious car nut guest to close out the series.

Great series. Mat La Blanc again playing Joey out of friends, and Eddie Jordan playing the guy that everyone didn't want in their team
I can't wait until the next series.

it was much better than the last series which is not hard to do. don't matt and rory but I am not liking chris harris at all.

Good return show last week, and also good last night. Moving Extra Gear to being later the same night is probably a good idea too, and it seems more set-up as the serious side of speed discussion too, which would seem a bit weird coming from MlB.

Presumably purists would cry at the run-out for the Suzuki Swift last night

Good stuff in Japan, and on Extra Gear too.

Another entertaining week, whether in the USA or France. Although the title always suggests looking at the cutting edge of motoring, I'm glad they find a place for old crap like the 2CV too. Like those Japanese boxy cars last week, no matter how crap you think a car must be, there's always someone who loves it and wants to make the best of it, whether modding or racing or both.

RE: Top Gear - Doddle - 27-03-2018 12:58

Several cases of reusing old ideas, but with the different verve that this team has. So Imola, Willow Springs and tractors all back, but not quite the same as before. Also a pro-bikes stance as well.

Entertaining end to the series, with an unnecessary return for Eddie Jordan leading to a somewhat shocking result, and more pranks about driving across fields.

Extra Gear also shone, with serious chats about the world of karting, and film of Rory on the streets of Tokyo.

If they are indeed going to be back later in the year, that can only be good news.
