Yorkshire secure runners-up spot ,by virtue of their 80 run win over Middlesex at Headingley .
Only Durham & Yorkshire have topped 200 points this season .

While i am very happy about Warwickshire winning i,m also sorry to see Surrey relegated, hopefully they will be able to bounce back at the first attempt.

For Derbyshire to avoid relegation they must beat Warwickshire & hope that Somerset & Notts draw & fail to better them in terms of bonus points,if that happens it's either Notts or Somerset going down.

Northants have a 20 point advantage over Essex in the battle for the final promotion spot in Div 2.Northants only need 5 points to guarantee 2nd place in Div 2

^ nothing against Somerset and Notts but I would love to see Derby stay up. They are a friendly little club punching above their weight without the financial and geographical resources of some and losing a lot of their youngsters to "bigger teams". On a selfish note an away trip to either Taunton or Trent Bridge would also be fun.
Lancs have been far and away the best team in Div 2 but I think Northants also deserve to go up. The signing of bowler Copeland made them stand out from the others (except Lancs) and they been in top / 2nd spot most of the season so hope they do not blow their chance, which I understand talking to their fans they are quite adapt at.

Actually it never crossed my mind that Warwickshire would get relegated, we have a very strong squad but our injury list this season has been horrendous, add to that the amount of players who have been called up for international duties and the team has done really well to be where they are. If it had not been for all those missing players we would probably have retained our title.

^ No nor me but we only 8 teams and 2 down always a danger of being sucked into these things when you have just an OK season.

Disappointing to see not a full house at Lords for the showcase 40 over final. Glam 92-2 off 17 overs chasing 245 look to have a slight edge but should be a tight finish against Notts.

Glamorgan were on course at 108-2 until Man of the Match Samit Patel took the wickets of both in batsmen,Cooke & Allenby followed by Goodwin.
All out for 157 losing by 87 runs.

AS a Yorkshire fan I can't wait for next season when Lancashire, aided by the expected new signing of Jos Butler will give us a challenging time in T20 & One-day Cricket.

^ I think Lancs will also do well in the Championship as well. Seem a good and balanced team.
