And just like that, San Francisco did indeed defeat Washington last night to complete a 3-1 series win.
Which means we're down to the final 4 teams...
National League Championship Series
San Francisco Giants vs. St Louis Cardinals and
American League Championship Series
Baltimore Orioles vs. Kansas City Royals
The American League series begins on Friday night. National League series starts Saturday.

Bravo to Kansas City. They've swept Baltimore 4 games to 0 and so, in their first season back in the playoffs since 1985, they've made it all the way to the World Series, and, on present form, have to be considered favourites to win. Who they'll face isn't yet decided, but San Francisco are on the verge- leading St Louis 3-1. Game 5 is tonight in California.

We're finally here. After over six months of Baseball we're at the end. The World Series. Game 1 is tonight at 1AM. Should be a fun series.

Great first inning for San Francisco. Pablo Sandoval driving in a run with a double. Then Hunter Pence cracking a 2-run homer in the next at bat. James Shields has looked very ropey thus far.

Game 5 tonight at 1am. San Francisco had a big inning last night to end up cruising to victory to tie the series at 2-2.
