If parry, borthwick and briggs can play then i would happily give rafiq a go. It is not just his bowling i like but his attitude too.

As for bresnan this is not a crusade against him, but if we have to cling to his batting as a reason for him being in the team, god help us. Tongue

^^ I have to defend Bresnan & his stats are no worse than Broad who he is in direct competition with in this T20 side as a bowling allrounder,Jordan has played too little to say one way or the other,as has Woakes.

Broad is already making noises as to whether he will be the T20 captain, due to issues surrounding his ongoing injury.he's made a good fist of it but has already missed a number of matches since his appointment.this is a major drawback with having a bowler as skipper.

Who would be in your team for the game with Netherlands? (if everyone was fit and had been selected, your fantasy england team)

^^ My fantasy team would have 11 Yorkshiremen in it of course.

England win the toss & will bowl. Parry in for Dernbach.

Netherlands 133-5

England pulled it back well at one stage Netherlands were 67-1 off 8 overs.

RE: 2014 ICC World Twenty20 - William H Bonney - 31-03-2014 13:16

The Netherlands couldn't take advantage of a bright start and their modest total looked to have left England with a straightforward target, but no nothing is straightforward for England and at the halfway stage of their innings it's 42/5. It needs a supreme innings from someone to win from this position.

England 86-9 - 49 required off 16 balls

Only 4 boundaries so far !!
