It must be some bit of kit - when you add up all the parts at £8.99 a time, it's over £1,100 to make the DeLorean, not to mention it would take 2 and a half years to get all the parts, if it comes out once a week. You could buy a real car for that money.
I would love to know how many people make it all the way to the last issue of these part-works. There must be thousands of copies printed of the first couple at the special intro price, then it must plummet after a few issues when people realise how expensive it is.
Just thinking of how many of these things I have bought for the free gift in the first issue, because it's cheap, then never got any more of. But they must know that is what will happen, so do they make most of their money off the first issue, it's a mystery.
I can see a lot of half-finished cars getting stuck in the back of cupboards.
