II think the FBI investigation will eventually drag Blatter down too far to stay on as president because at some point the FBI will come looking for him. not only that there is the possibility of UEFA losing a prestigious guaranteed place in the World Cup and that would be bad news for England given the current rankings and that would mean if seeding is the same as as before, England could find themselves in a group with possibly Germany which would not make Roy happy and England would then have to fight for one of just SIX places in the play - offs and tthere would be an extra place given to one of the other Confederations at UEFA's expense. RE: FIFA - Charlemagne - 30-05-2015 07:09 Gregg Dyke has said the England will not pull out of any competitions - unless EUFA pull out RE: FIFA - HannahsPet - 30-05-2015 07:54 Its quite right England or the home nations pulling out will do fuck all as we are are as welcome as small pox at fifa and so it begins blames the english media and the US sour grapes for not getting 2022 for the charges RE: FIFA - Tractor boy - 30-05-2015 08:23 (30-05-2015 07:09 )Charlemagne Wrote: Gregg Dyke has said the England will not pull out of any competitions - unless EUFA pull out Not until the end of the group stage anyway. RE: FIFA - HannahsPet - 30-05-2015 08:58 Well well well seems the French FA Representitive voted for Blatter because they got the Womens World Cup in 2019 RE: FIFA - whizzer - 30-05-2015 09:18 (29-05-2015 18:12 )*Kal-El* Wrote: i doubt he will be weakned by this as it is the 5th time his managed to win, this guy has got thick skin and he'll simply just get on with it like his always done. I agree with this. I think Blatter will just carry on as normal, as though nothing has happened. He thinks any threats from UEFA will come to nothing. Maybe he's right. Very good point. RE: FIFA - Charlemagne - 30-05-2015 10:23 Blatter has said that all countries outside Asia can bid for the 2026 World Cup. Asian countries can't bid because Qatar have the 2022 competition. Blatter's being given a rough time at the press conference RE: FIFA - HannahsPet - 30-05-2015 13:09 Wow If what greg dyke has just said on Sky Sports news is true then seems that most of Latin America voted against blatter as well as europe RE: FIFA - lovebabes56 - 30-05-2015 15:54 I'd love to see the actual vote count who voted how and all that But I doubt any Latin American teams would really stand together with UEFA we would nee more than half of Federations around the world to be certain of any kind of breakaway unit being a success Sometimes I think Blatter is like Count Dracula!! |
