The toss has been delayed, but the rain has stopped and there's a pitch inspection at 10:30am.
There's a big debate regarding the design of the stumps. They have been hit 5 times so far in this competition without the bails failing off.

This format was always going to have issues with teams potentially eliminated thanks to the weather. It is England for Christ sake! To make no provision for at least one spare day to allow for rain days, shows the folly of the tournament and the decision makers at the ICC.

I Remember fondly the old domestic knock out competitions where some matches did go into a second day. The ICC Must be wondering "What the hell is all this wet stuff?" it'S called RAIN!!

I think the semi finals and the final have a contingency day set aside in case of rain....at this rate they may need them!

We may get a match today
