Johnson just censored The BBC and ITV by preventing them asking questions about the type of trip Cummings took to Barnard Castle to the scientific advisors.

He then just ignored any other question on the subject

So there we have it - this government supports press and media censorship. That’s the action of a dictatorship not a democracy.

I can't see how Johnson thinks by burying his head in the sand like refusing to answer over Cummings this row is going to go away

Why not?

It worked for the £300k he wasted on unusable, illegal water cannons. That went away. And the £46 million pissed away on a bridge that was never built? That went away. And the retro-chic, rolling BBQ buses he bought that are life-threateningly hot on a warm day in London? Those are still there, but the story went away.

He has been recorded making physical threats to a journalist. His thoughtless, jackass remarks led to the imprisonment of an English woman in Iran.

We giggled about Arcuri, we ignored Charlotte Edwards, and we forgot all about Petronella Wyatt. We still don't how many illegitimate children he has.

Remember the piccaninnies with watermelon smiles? The tank-topped bum boys? How about the Muslim 'letterbox' comments or the 'part-Kenyan' description of a fully-American Obama? How about the Liverpudlians among us who are still "wallowing as victims" for not letting the Hillsborough tragedy go unanswered? The man said that money spent investigating child abuse cases was money "spaffed up the wall".

And I mustn't make this about Brexit, so I'll preface this next bit by saying that both sides of that risible 'debate' spewed a shower of bullshit and lies. But among Johnson's greatest hits were: the £350m a week to the NHS; Turkey about to join the EU; those shamefully misleading campaign posters; no border in the Irish Sea; or the champion of British business who said "fuck business".

Any one of these scandals could have felled a normal politician.

But Johnson isn't normal. He is supremely narcissistic. He can weather these storms because you cannot shame the shameless.

He's a monster. He is Trump. And he is all ours for another 4.5 years.

Some turds aren't flushed easily, but all turds are eventually flushed away. The skidmarks that surround them will be cleaned after. Truth.

I really don't like the whole whataboutery that's being used on an almost daily basis now. Lies, half truths and deflection is the norm.
People were worried about the rise of the far right, they should have been watching for the inept, because that's what we've got.

Some of the stuff that's been said in response to this situation, from supposedly well educated individuals is ridiculous, Mother and Father need refunding.

There are too many turds in Government so the quicker those turds are flushed out of Government the better.

As far as rules go, you can go inside a house in England but if you use the toilet you have to wipe it down afterwards
But in Wales you can go inside a house can't use a toilet

Dark Dom a closet socialist, possible, he has done more to fuck up the CONservatives than anyone could have thought possible. Trump is an amateur compared to our public school buffoon, he has the full force of the elite club backing him.

Wonder if Boris is taking advice from Trump as well Dominic on what to do?

I wonder how much damage has be done to Brand GB abroad with Cummings controlling things?

Cummings wife wrote a piece for The Spectator along the lines of "emerging from isolation into lockdown London"

Clearly she meant "arriving". Maybe it was a typo... Rolleyes
