Jack Draper already out.
Beaten in five sets by qualifier Jesper De Jong.
Disappointing loss.

Andy Murray also out, beaten in straight sets by Stanislas Wawrinka in the evening match.

I read that he lost to Wawrinka on both his previous appearances too. Luck of the Draw indeed!

Cameron Norrie also went for a burton.

They clothing manufacturers need to have home and away outfits for players. I spent most of Boutier v Badosa trying to figure out who was who as they both were wearing the same Nike outfit!

I believe Nadal won't be at Wimbledon as he'll be preparing for Paris instead. I think it would be great to see him bow out with the Olympic Gold Medal. It was a miracle in itself he even came back from the injury he had, just show how mentally and physically strong he was.I think we now have to accept the era of the Biggest six men's tennis stars is over when Nadal quits. I would think it will not be long before Novak does the same and probably Andy as well.

Thank You Nadal and enjoy retirement. He'll make a great tennis coach for youngsters for sure.

Iga Swiatek survived an epic struggle against Naomi Osaka to prevail
7-6 (7-1) 1-6 7-5.

The Pole recovered from 2-5 down in the deciding set to win 5 games in a row and with it progress to the third round at Roland Garros.

I would not be surprised if Osaka flourishes at Wimbledon & the Olympics. That probably has given her something of a confidence boost ahead of either Eastbourne (if she is playing there), Wimbledon & Olympics that she's getting somewhere close to her best after the time away. Even she has always admitted I think that clay isn't one of her favourite surfaces.
