Wow Holly seeking legal advice over claims she queue jumped

Jesus she really needs to get a grip and whats that going to do apart from make it worse she could learn from the likes of jimmy carr when the tax thing hit say sorry and actually mean it and then have your mates rip you apart on tv

RE: The Royals - skully - 21-09-2022 14:13

What a thoroughly stupid thing to do. Why seek legal advice if you did nothing wrong, so just be fucking honest, if they did indeed queue jump, own up and admit it was wrong and apologise. If they didn't and was all down to ITV/This Morning for a segment, then be honest about that, let those who set it up be blamed, but be open about it or it won't go away. Shoddy statements are not cutting it.

Jimmy Carr is a good example HP, that stuff still gets brought up, although it may get to him sometimes, he can laugh it off.

Next up Loose Women interview mourners in the queue paying their respects, talk about outfits and feelings, an ITV exclusive. Piss off.
So would you condemn Radio 5 live for being there interviewing in the Queue?

It seems odd that these 2 are being singled out for criticism when hundreds of other journalists applied for press passes and did exactly the same thing. People say it's because they aren't proper journalists, but This Morning managed to get the last 3 prime ministers (Cameron, May, Johnson) on their show to be interviewed by Schofield and Willoughby.

RE: The Royals - HannahsPet - 24-09-2022 13:39

yeah because they were hardly hard interviews were they

don't think any of the other press went into Westminster hall using there passes thats the issue the likes of susannah reid actually queued up and waited hours to do it. all this bollocks about they needed to be in there so people could see what it was like was total bollocks the BBC had a 24 hour live feed on the net and on bbc parliament showing the lying in state

and don't you think they hadn't liked the idea they would have pulled it themselves

I know what will happen will blame it on the producers and one of them will be sacrificed to save Phil and Hollys skin

RE: The Royals - lovebabes56 - 24-09-2022 13:56

Which IMO would be quite a sacrifice

Yes they did. Hundreds did. They were all shown to the press gallery at the side, which is what happened to Schofield and Willoughby.

Eh?? Huh

Lovebabes, Radio 5 Live is a BBC news outlet. Radio 5 Live, or any other BBC news platform, or any true news outlet, wouldn't be asking people about outfits either.

Loose Women and This Morning are not news programmes, they are topical / light entertainment. That's the point - and I believe Skully has made it clearly.

^ Yup, exactly mate, it's why I ignored the question Wink
