There are 2 quite small outstanding issues with the chatbox, neither of which affect it's running, but they should be resolved today anyway RE: Forum upgrade - admin. - 17-07-2009 08:29 (15-07-2009 10:54 )TheWatcher Wrote:(15-07-2009 06:17 )Sm©gill1888 Wrote: if you go to your user cp, you can change the time back. TheWatcher is correct, members should ideally have their time zone set to GMT and have selected the option always use DST correction. Only full edit option is available. Dont know if this is how it is supposed to be now. No, the quick edit option should still be there. Please post in this thread again if you don't have the quick edit option. Hi DrGrumpyPants, PMs should now be fully functional in both the classic mode and the modern mode. Correct Shandy. It's to prevent anyone with a very long user name, such as heavenlybabespecialfriend for example, from causing the whole thread to move to the right. With the new format they can only move their own posts to the right, not everyone else's (note: this is only relevant to the classic mode). The red box chat logo has now been restored to every page in the forum and should be visible in the top right corner. Can anyone post in this thread if they find a page which isn't showing the chat logo? Can't thank you enough. The thanks button has now returned, but unfortunately yes the original 'thanks' have disappeared. They have however only disappeared from the forum display, as all the old thanks still exist in the forum database. I may publish that database table in the forum in some way, but that's a separate issue to the forum upgrade. After all, the old thanks button had been used almost 150,000 times. It would then help distinguish between the name of the thread and its author, It shouldn't really blend in, as the name of the thread author is always shown on a separate line. |
