RE: Whats your favourite film? - Mister Gummidge - 21-01-2009 04:26 A brilliant clip from Dog Soldiers, arguably the best werewolf film ever (heads or tails with Ginger Snaps), it makes me proud to be a Geordie RE: Whats your favourite film? - Gaz "AV1" Aston - 21-01-2009 18:25 I love that film too Gummidge " I hope i give u the shits you wimp" is a quality line pmsl I love The Lost Boys - thats a proper 80s cheesefest! RE: Whats your favourite film? - Paddyfrank - 21-01-2009 20:54 Love dog soldiers, favourites have to be City Of God and Pulp Fiction RE: Whats your favourite film? - watty - 22-01-2009 19:54 My favourites in no particular order....... The Prestige Se7en The Wicker Man The Dark Knight The Shawshank Redemption An American Werewolf In London (the best werewolf film ) Raiders Of The Lost Ark All six Star Wars movies..... well episode II is pretty lame. Lord Of The Rings trilogy RE: Whats your favourite film? - mas0887 - 22-01-2009 21:05 My top 20, in roughly correct order (For the first 5 at least: The Shawshank Redemption Cool Hand Luke Leon Somebody Up There Likes Me Pulp Fiction American History X Gladiator The Usual Suspects Seven Stand By Me Saving Private Ryan Road To Perdition The Nightmare Before Christmas Sexy Beast The 40 Year-Old Virgin Superbad Ong-Bak Reservoir Dogs The Dark Knight Iron Man I have forgone all animated movies (Except TNBC obviously) but nearly every Disney film could go on that list. And there are probably loads more that should be in there, I just can't remember them at the moment. RE: Whats your favourite film? - Carl13 - 22-01-2009 21:09 Just some of mine in random order: Blade 1 & 2, From Dusk till Dawn, The Thing, The Rock Pitch Black, Fargo, Donnie Darko, The Sixth Sense. Plenty of others especially in the horror, Sci-Fi & action genres. RE: Whats your favourite film? - mas0887 - 22-01-2009 21:14 Yeah I forgot to put the first Blade, I have seen that film more than any other film I own, I love it, and I own a lot, more than 500 dvd's and not one of them pirated. RE: Whats your favourite film? - mas0887 - 22-01-2009 21:47 Fuck it I have nothing better to do at the moment, films I consider classics from my collection, not including the ones above: Anchorman In Bruges Akira Spirited Away Princess Mononoke American Psycho Pineapple Express Love, Honour & Obey Batman Begins The Bourne Trilogy Zodiac (Fucking brilliant, might go in the top 20) Toy Story The Incredibles Finding Nemo Peter Pan (Disney) Beauty And The Beast Aladdin Grosse Point Blank 300 Dead Silence (As far as horror films go, this is the best I have seen) The Departed Hot Rod The Replacement Killers 28 Days Later (Not Weeks, that was shit) Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy (I loved them all) The Kingdom Blood Diamond Oldboy Street Fighter 2: The Animated Movie Legends of the Fall Boogie Nights The Waterboy (Sandlers best) The Matrix Hero Super Troopers Stir Crazy Blazing Saddles The Rock Shaun of the Dead The Goonies Con Air Kung Fu Hustle Equilibrium Clerks Clerks 2 Terminator 2: Judgment Day American Beauty Training Day Pan's Labyrinth A History of Violence Sunishine Sleepers Warrior King (Just for the fighting) Running Scared Apocalypto Shooter Spider-man Spider-man 2 Raiders of the Lost Ark Borat: Cultural Learnings Of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation Of Kazakhstan (Full title had to be done) Aliens (Not any of the others, not a fan) Back to the Future Trilogy Die Hard Superman X-Men 2 Lethal Weapon Star Wars Trilogy Lord of The Rings Trilogy Human Traffic Brick Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory Charlie And The Chocolate Factory (Yeah I like kids films) Oceans Eleven (The remake) Face/Off Heat Butch Cassidey And The Sundance Kid Collateral Kiss Kiss Bang Bang Lucky Number Slevin The Warriors V For Vendetta Casino Layer Cake Chopper L.A. Confidential Sin City Scarface Fight Club And there are others that are funny that could possibly go in like Knocked Up and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but they are hardly amazing movies. I hated Harsh Times too, fucking terrible film, and has anyone seen Strange Wilderness? Worst piece of shit I saw all of last year by a long way. Damn I posted a lot of films, and that isn't even all of the great ones among them. I really was bored lol. RE: Whats your favourite film? - doc7576 - 23-01-2009 10:35 My favourites (although I do love any good action film such as the Bourne trilogy, Die Hard (1 and 4 the best), Leathal Weapons etc..) Usual Suspects Grosse Point Blank The Thirty Nine Steps (1978 version with Robert Powell and John Mills) Shaun of The Dead And if have female company, You've Got Mail (bring on the piss taking, lol) If flicking through the channels and Shaun of The Dead is on I have to watch it no matter where in the film it is "cock it" pure genius. Recently watched Bangkok Dangerous and May Payne as wasnt to impressed by either!
