Yorkshire have a new sponsor for the Royal London Cup, & will have Anchor Butter spread across their shirts Wink.....the name, not the actual butter. Important Big Grin

An Irish sponsor.. Yorkshire Butter would have been a better sponsor.

^^ Anchor is part of the Leeds based cooperative, Arla Foods. But a company spokesperson said that it was a made from British milk, produced in the South of England. Not an ideal fit, Aunt Bessie, famous for their Yorkshire Puddings would be better, but a frozen Yorkshire Punning is criminal in my mind.

^ I got that wrong, I was thinking of Kerrygold. Anchor was originally made in New Zealand but they say that it's now made in Wilts.

One of Lancs sponsors /partner is Titanic Distillers.

15 year old Archie Vaughan, son of ex-England captain Michael, has signed for Somerset Academy, he is currently attending Millfield School. It's not always an easy ride following in your famous fathers footsteps, Josh De Caires, the son of former England skipper Atherton has broken into the Middlesex 1st Team in the Championship, T20, & Royal London Cup side, with sores of 5,4,14,17 2,& 4.

Bangladesh have recorded their first ever series win over Australia in any format, as they have taken a 3-0 lead in the 5 match home T20 series. Nathan Ellis would've had mixed emotions, on debut, with a hat-trick, but finishing on the losing side.
