RE: Cricket Banter - Boomerangutangangbang - 03-07-2021 14:37 ^^ After he's finished a period of self-isolation, a Sussex player tested positive for covid this week & Ollie was among 7 other Sussex players who had close contact. RE: Cricket Banter - Boomerangutangangbang - 19-07-2021 20:54 Yorkshire have a new sponsor for the Royal London Cup, & will have Anchor Butter spread across their shirts .....the name, not the actual butter. RE: Cricket Banter - Charlemagne - 20-07-2021 11:34 An Irish sponsor.. Yorkshire Butter would have been a better sponsor. RE: Cricket Banter - Boomerangutangangbang - 20-07-2021 13:19 ^^ Anchor is part of the Leeds based cooperative, Arla Foods. But a company spokesperson said that it was a made from British milk, produced in the South of England. Not an ideal fit, Aunt Bessie, famous for their Yorkshire Puddings would be better, but a frozen Yorkshire Punning is criminal in my mind. RE: Cricket Banter - Charlemagne - 20-07-2021 13:59 ^ I got that wrong, I was thinking of Kerrygold. Anchor was originally made in New Zealand but they say that it's now made in Wilts. One of Lancs sponsors /partner is Titanic Distillers. RE: Cricket Banter - Boomerangutangangbang - 05-08-2021 13:38 More bad news for England, as Archer is now out of the T20 World Cup & Ashes, with a stress fracture in his right elbow. RE: Cricket Banter - Boomerangutangangbang - 05-08-2021 19:16 15 year old Archie Vaughan, son of ex-England captain Michael, has signed for Somerset Academy, he is currently attending Millfield School. It's not always an easy ride following in your famous fathers footsteps, Josh De Caires, the son of former England skipper Atherton has broken into the Middlesex 1st Team in the Championship, T20, & Royal London Cup side, with sores of 5,4,14,17 2,& 4. RE: Cricket Banter - Boomerangutangangbang - 07-08-2021 11:10 Bangladesh have recorded their first ever series win over Australia in any format, as they have taken a 3-0 lead in the 5 match home T20 series. Nathan Ellis would've had mixed emotions, on debut, with a hat-trick, but finishing on the losing side. RE: Cricket Banter - lovebabes56 - 27-08-2021 12:02 Ireland V Zimbabwe 1st T20 Ireland won toss and chose to bowl RE: Cricket Banter - Boomerangutangangbang - 01-09-2021 21:12 Bangladesh recorded their first T20I victory over New Zealand, who had won the first 10 matches against them in this format. They were bowled out for 60, their joint lowest total. |
