well i missed it i can't watch football all the way from 1pm till 7pm, if this game was on at 8pm i would have watched it, 5pm is a daft time to put it on imo, anyway real won 3-1 they seem to be in rampant form atm

Last season was obviously a flash in the pan for Liverpool. Very mediocre team in 14/15. Suarez was a barmpot but could turn a game in seconds. At this rate they won't be in Europe next season.
And as for blowing £400m on a new stadium...forget it.
RE: Football Banter - Fernandez Esperenda - 25-10-2014 21:27
New stadium? you meant £400m on upgrading a stand they will struggle to fill that 1 stand as it is now if they carry on playing like this..

Cavani's ridiculous red card for a goal celebration..
Next time he scored in the CL against APOEL he shot into the ground instead

Real Madrid had a good 3-1 win today against Barcelona.
The good news for Barcelona is that Suarez didn't bite anyone.
RE: Football Banter - Fernandez Esperenda - 25-10-2014 21:58
Was Suarez even on the pitch?
RE: Football Banter - Charlemagne - 25-10-2014 22:01
Yes he made a big impression.
He hit the ground hard.

Having seen the highlights (lowlights) from the last couple of Sunderland games on MOTD I would be suspicious of bloody match fixing if I was a Sunderland supporter. Absolutely comical defending and as for the goalkeeping...surely no professional can be that bad without it being on purpose. Got to feel sorry for the fans who part with their hard earned cash.
