RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - The Silent Majority - 05-07-2022 23:18 Sorry, I thought you were having a fanboy moment there RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - SecretAgent - 06-07-2022 03:40 As we all struggle with increased fuel bills it’s good to see that at least the latest millionaire chancellor Nadhim Zahawi has personal experience of getting government support to help pay his heating bills. In his case it was “mistakenly” claiming £6000 on his MP’s expenses to pay for heating his stables RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - Skyline - 06-07-2022 05:09 RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - lovebabes56 - 06-07-2022 07:13 On a toasted level of 1 - 10 how toasted is Boris? 1 = Buttered 2= Marmalade 3=Burnt but scraped off 4- Burnt 5 = Burnt but edible 6 = Blackened but scraped 7= Blackened 8 = Blackened but can't eat it 9 = Noteating that 10 = Rubbish bin OR ANY other level you like RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - lovebabes56 - 06-07-2022 07:18 (06-07-2022 03:40 )SecretAgent Wrote: As we all struggle with increased fuel bills it’s good to see that at least the latest millionaire chancellor Nadhim Zahawi has personal experience of getting government support to help pay his heating bills. Boris shoud have been bold and and sacked the lot of them and offered jobs to businessmen to get us out of this shit knowing our luck Sir Philip Green would have been Chancellor by now RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - lovebabes56 - 06-07-2022 07:23 (05-07-2022 22:42 )The Silent Majority Wrote: {snip} If he had any real fortitude he would have led a cabinet rebellion to get him out of No 10. RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - lovebabes56 - 06-07-2022 07:39 2 more resignations RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - Sm© - 06-07-2022 09:05 RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - SecretAgent - 06-07-2022 09:36 More info on Nadhim Zahawi. He was the co-founder of research company YouGov. When he was an MP in 1997 YouGov did usual poll forecasting of the 2017 election result. This was when May started the campaign with a big lead over Corbyn which as the campaign neared election day was gradually whittled down. It has been claimed that just prior to the election a YouGov poll was completed which predicted a hung Parliament and that when Zahawi heard about this before it was published he warned them that he would publicly call for the resignation of the YouGov CEO if it was wrong. The poll was not published. If this was true it was clearly an attempt to influence the election result in an underhand way.
