Rio has been one of the best ball playing central defenders that England ever had. He's already being missed.

Just watched for the first time on the Sky Sports video website, Barcelona striker Lionel Messi's amazin solo goal against Athletic Bilbao in the Copa Del Rey which was on last night. Now, I seen this little genius of a footballer score outstandin goals, but his solo goal last night where he glides easily pass 3 to 4 Bilbao players leavin em for dust, cut inside to his left side to score in the bottom right corner of the net
Here my reaction to Mr. Messi goal last night
What this guy does on a pitch is truly amazin to see

If Messi had done that in the World Cup last year there probably would have had a different outcome

Am I the only one or does anybody else wish to reach for the vomit bucket when you see players bringing all their bastard relatives onto the pitch to join in with the celebrations.
Yesterday Inverness CT manager John Hughes not only brought his 2 daughters up the stairs to also pick up the Scottish Cup but then they both stepped onto the platform with the rest of the players, players families and basically everybody within the club who just so happened to have relatives with them.
Call me old fashioned but why can't we just have the players and management celebrate. Its seems to have been a fad that was started down in England that has spread like a virus. Call me a killjoy if you want but I'm just happy that I have my framed picture of Dundee United with the Scottish Cup in 2010 before all this nonsense started
I'll let you decide. Which would you rather have proudly displayed on the wall.
