RE: Top Gear - GMach1 - 26-01-2020 15:12 Oh COCK! yes that's his favourite expletive isn't it. I wonder what ex presenters William Woolard, Michael Rodd and Angela Rippon would make of it now - not sure they would recognise it. RE: Top Gear - circles_o_o_o - 27-01-2020 15:37 There was one thing that didn't seem right in the convertible test. Surely, as a test of agility on the driving range, the winner should be the one with the LEAST number of balls landed in the car, not the most. An anomaly perfectly demonstrated by Chris's tactic to just stop moving in order to try and win. And a nod to the past with "I bet Jeremy would never have done that". RE: Top Gear - lovebabes56 - 27-01-2020 18:38 Would they ever dare risk a return to Bolivia? Or Silverstone? RE: Top Gear - GMach1 - 10-02-2020 21:04 Good news, revealed by Chris Harris and Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff on BBC Breakfast and first broken on the BBC media centre website, TOP GEAR is moving to BBC1 for the next series. No date has been set nor a day but Harris is hoping for the prime slot of 8pm. Hmm might have to fight the Midwives for that one. Perhaps a more ordinary week, but I quite like the premise of Harris doing capsule reviews in a couple of minutes. Bit of controversy with Laurence Fox as a guest. RE: Top Gear - GMach1 - 19-02-2020 13:56 Chris Harris did that sort of car thing in the last series so it's not new. He was genuinely gutted at not being able to complete the Baja 1000 but determined to do it next year. What was controversial about Laurence Fox Doddle? I liked lovely Emilia, I always thought they were brother and sister not cousins. RE: Top Gear - skully - 19-02-2020 18:50 Laurence has made a few comments recently that have divided opinion, some of the criticism is deserved, some of it is a bit ott. They were great guests, I like them on the celeb gogglebox too. RE: Top Gear - lenny10 - 23-02-2020 20:26 Demon love child lol |
