I'd like to share a personal story. This may come across as a bit geeky, a bit nerdy, but it's become a hobby. This seemed like a good place to post.

This year, I started collecting Funko Pop vinyl figurines. I saw them as collectable valuables, not toys. After reading more into it, I found that there are communities and social groups dedicated to it.

I now have 36. Another two on the way on order, one coming tomorrow and another in about two weeks. I find it a constructive, calming, positive activity. It's helped to have something else to focus on. I keep them in their boxes and arranged in a display bookcase, dusted and cleaned.

Maybe one day they'll earn me some money, maybe not. There's a challenging aspect in the sense that there's so many to find and there are many that are part of mini groups. I've found it enjoyable to complete a mini set. I'm finding it fun searching for items from my favourite films, books, TV shows, sports.

The point is, it's nice to have something to do to take your mind off things, when the isolation and loneliness hits. It's helped me with my mental health and anxiety.

The Forbidden Planet shop is a goldmine. It has become my second favourite shop. The first being Gregg's. Wink

^^
Welcome to the Funko Pop community Smile I've been collecting Funko Pops for around 10 years & now have around 150. These two Funkos are my favourites as they've been handsigned/autographed/personalised in front of me by the people they are based on

Love a Funko too, I buy one every now and again, most recent one was Naru from Prey. Bung them in a protective plastic case so the boxes don't get fucked.

So happy for Jack Lisowski tonight.
After so many heartbreaks and so much personal heartache he finally has his moment of joy and redemption.
A ranking event winner in snooker for the very first time. And the words said by himself and his opponent Judd Trump to each other were amazing. I was welling up. Two best friends.
The loser truly happy for the winner.

Wonderful stuff Heart.
