RE: Blu Ray Recommendations - *Kal-El* - 19-09-2018 19:59 American Made Had to pick this up being a big Tom Cruise fan from it says it’s based on a true story. The picture transfer is crisp with its 1080p transfer the sound quality is equally as impressive 5.1/DTS transfer. Extras •Deleted Scenes •American Storytellers •Cruise & Liman: A Conversation •In The Wings •Shooting American Made •Flying High •The Real Barry Seal. Plus comes with a digital copy of the movie. Picked it up for a fiver in Sainsbury’s. RE: Blu Ray Recommendations - *Kal-El* - 24-09-2018 10:43 The Flash Season 4 Picked this today from Sainsbury’s, all tho I had to go to bigger store to get it added bonus was I got it cheaper. The picture quality is stunning totally crystal clear and colours pop off the screen which you could come to expect from a 1089p transfer and dear I say it looks better then the Sky HD broadcast. The sound transfer is amazing with a 5.1/DTS transfer so on a home cinema system it sounds stunning. Extras All 4 Epic DC Super Hero Crossover Episodes With Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl. 5 All-New Featurettes - Inside The Crossover: Crisis On Earth-X; The Best of DC TV’s Comic Con Panels San Diego 2017; The Elongated Man; Flash Time On Amunet Black With Katee, Eric and Sterling; And The Fastest Mind Alive: The Thinker. Deleted Scenes Gag Reel For some odd reason this year no digital copy of the season this all across the different Warner Bros shows Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Gotham and Supernatural anything else not sure. Am looking into why theres digital copies any more will get back if I found out anything. What I did like is all the 4 parts of the crossover eps from Crisis on Earth-X usually the crossover eps of are separate on each DC boxset I would assume the other shows have all crossover eps on there boxsets. Instead of the usually 23 Eps but with the crossover Eps it’s 26. Best place to pick it up is Sainsbury’s as it’s £25 instead of £30. RE: Blu Ray Recommendations - Rammyrascal - 24-09-2018 14:45 ^ I’ve got supergirl season 3 & that too has all 4 parts of the crossover on it & yes no digital copy. In my opinion the absolute best screen adaptation of the Beauty and the Beast story. A gorgeous 4K restoration makes the Gothic, erotic fantasy scintillate even more seven decades after its initial release. Extras : Commentary Documentaries Deleted scenes Short Booklet + all the extras from the BFI DVD release RE: Blu Ray Recommendations - *Kal-El* - 01-10-2018 20:09 Star Trek III: The Search For Spock Got all three of of my Star Trek Blu Ray Steel Books today as three for a ten pounds thanks to Lancealot for posting about this on blu ray/Dvd bargains thread. Really love the art work on the front of the steel book, the title is debossed and steel book is part of the 50th Anniversary. The picture quality is fantastic being a older film I wasn’t expecting it to be so good as always a 1080p. The sound quality is equally as impressive with its 7.1 Dolby TrueHD mix. Extras Commentary By:Ronald D. Moore and Michael Taylor. Industrial Light & Magic: Visual Effects HD. Spock: The Early Years HD Star Trek And The Science Fiction Museum And Hall of Frame HD Starfleet Academy: The Vulcan Katra Transfer HD Blu-Ray Exclusives: Plus Over 2 Hours of Previously Released Content. No digital copy which is a shame and would have loved the steel book to have a gloss finish. Picture quality wise the transfer is fantastic as always a 1089p transfer everything looks so detailed and crystal clear the colours on screen pop. The sound quality is equally as impressive with its 5.1/DTS mix now when your playing this through a home cinema system is even more impressive. Extras Extended Fight Scenes All About The Stunts Car Culture In The Family Now you get a digital copy of the movie but the extra bonus is there’s a Director’s Extended Cut of the movie but it’s only on the digital copy. All this picked up for fiver in Sainsbury’s, highly recommend it and if it’s still at that price. What really impressed with this steel book was the art work on the front and title is debossed out of all the Star Trek steel books this is possibly my fav one.
