RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - lovebabes56 - 29-06-2018 05:51 what will be Andy Murray's decision? I don't think he will play Wimbledon I don't think he has played nearly enough competitive tennis to really put in a decent performance at Sw19 my gut instinct tells me he will give Wimbledon a miss but concentrate on preparations for a serious Flushing Meadows assault. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - mikedafc - 29-06-2018 23:51 I think he will play if he feels he can be competive, gone are the days when Andy needs to play Slams at less than 100% healthy which he did prior to his US Open win RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - lovebabes56 - 30-06-2018 02:43 If Andy DOES play he will play assuming all goes well today with practice, he will play on Tuesday against Benoit Paire The Scot beat Paire in straight sets to reach the quarter-finals of Wimbledon last year - his most recent Grand Slam appearance. If he gets through that then he would face either Canadian 26th seed Denis Shapovalov or another Frenchman, Jeremy Chardy, in the second round. He could play Argentine fifth seed Juan Martin del Potro in the third round, which I am sure Andy has a good record against and being in the bottom half of the draw means he could face Nadal in possibly the Quarter Finals RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - mikedafc - 01-08-2018 10:29 Jo Konta has handed Serena Williams her worst defeat of her career beating her 6-1 6-0 at Silicon Valley Classic RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - HannahsPet - 01-08-2018 10:49 Yeah thought was good till i saw that the murderer of serena's and Venus half sister was released from prison yesterday might have had just a little to do with it RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - lovebabes56 - 19-08-2018 09:12 Roger Federer plays his150 career final today in the Cincinnati Classic against Novak Djokovic RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - mikedafc - 20-08-2018 18:08 Heather Watson lost in ITF Vancouver Final to Mischa Doi RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - mikedafc - 23-08-2018 11:55 Heather Watson, Katie Swan, Liam Broady and Naomi Broady all won their 1st round qualifying matches at the US Open. Jay Clarke, Katie Boulter, Harriet Dart and Katie Dunne all lost in their 1st qualifying matches RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - mikedafc - 24-08-2018 17:05 Heather Watson plays Katie Swan in final qualifying round to secure a place in the main draw of the US Open RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Snooks - 27-08-2018 07:30 I see the US Open is not on Sky or Eurosport this year. Amazon Prime have it until 2022. FFS |
