I think if Benitez came back to the PL it would certainly liven it up a bit!!

Having seen Liverpool's goal from last night, I guess Coutinho was offside but was he interfering with play?

As Shankley would have said 'if he were not interfering with play what was he doing on the field?'
The fact that he tried to touch the ball whilst in an offside position meant that by letter of the law he was offside and interfering with play.
I think the more relevant question is should the Bournmouth goal be disallowed. If Lovren had made the same challenge on the Bournmouth player would Bournmouth have got awarded a penalty? I think the answer to that is 'would they bollocks!!!!!!!!'

As a die in the wall red Bournemouth's goal should of stood and ours shouldn't , that being said I think we'd of still beaten them .

Unfortunately these things are impossible to tell.
Say for the sake of argument Bournemouth's goal stood and Liverpool's
Was disallowed for offside. Liverpool would have been forced to be more attacking. It is possible that they would have taken off the shackles and maybe won 4-1.
Also it is possible they would have to have taken risks and been vulnerable to the counter attack. Who is to say Bournemouth could not have taken advantage of the situation and picked them off for a 3-0 win? Unfortunately what may or may not have happened if the ref made the right decision is all conjecture.

There are times when I think referees apply sods law to the offside rule and in I am not sure the referee even consulted the linesman for his opinion and the rule should be rewritten so that automatic consultation with the linesman should be made first before any judgement is made!!
