I appreciate that what a caller talks about when they phone in is entirely up to them, but it doesn't take away from the fact that they are, in my opinion, partly responsible for the lack lustre shows we have nowadays.

No. imho they are doing a good job of keeping them ticking over until things calm down a bit. The people responsible are the young lads that got caught "watching" and ringing the channels by their mums who then went blubbing to 0fc0m.

All previous banter aside, it's actually a relevant question...
I'm a believer that the old 80/20 rule of business (80% of the revenue is made from 20% of the customers) applies with the babe channel format.
When you consider there are fanboys that spend several thousand pound on calls/pictures/videos, it's not difficult to understand why channel owners/producers will base their entire format around getting as many of them as possible. Unfortunately, this can be to the complete detriment of the other 80% of casual viewers/customers.
A while back, I was given a figure of around 700,000 viewers across all the babe channels (with around 2% of them being customers). That leaves around 98% of casual viewers who are either happy with what they're seeing for free or dissatisfied with the formats, content and/or lack of choice in the adult section.
So, are the fanboys partly responsible? Yes, partly. As are OFCOM, channel owners/producers, etc. There is a collective responsibility, as everyone is responsible for their own actions. It's all part of cause and effect.
PS - I think it's also necessary to point out that not all fanboys are a problem. Some are decent people who have what I'd describe as a "trivial obsession" with their favourite girls. The ones that usually irritate are those with double standards. The kind that put girls on a pedestal and interfere too much with a lack of perspective, logic or reason.

As I've already said, the producers see little reason for 'rocking the boat' while they're pulling in the dollars like they currently are. Aside from Asian Blokes, I very rarely see a girl that's NOT on the phone. If their bank accounts ever start to suffer we may see some form of shake-up/improvement, but not until, sadly.

So what your saying is that the babeshows are bucking the rules.
Not just bucking the rules but knocking the back out of them.They don't really need to do a lot starting at such a low percentage to maybe double or treble their customers.
Sorry if i've got this wrong but there were two sets of figures given.(Is it 20% or 2% ?)
