We are apparently refusing to increase the offer for Luke Shaw now that Southampton have increased the amount to £40 million. A ridiculous amount to pay for a young and relatively inexperienced player. Southamptons' perogative of course.
We are also supposed to still be pursuing Robben. That would be awesome, so long as we get rid of Young. Only room for one big diver at the club

We traditionally keep transfers quiet until the deal is almost done.

A statement on Athletic Bilbao's website reads: "Athletic want to announce that they have this week rejected an offer from Manchester United of 36 million euros for the transfer of the player Ander Herrera."
Herrera has said that he still expects to join Man Utd before long.
