A topsy turvy classic has been won by Djokovic after a real battle of wills with Wawrinka.
Amazing match won by the Serb 2-6 7-6 (7-4) 3-6 6-3 6-3.

Cilic ban reduced to 4 months from 9months backdated to May. Sensible decision as he didn't deliberately take a banned substance, he relied like Alan Baxter did that medicine ingredients are the same in whatever country you are in and don't have differences in different countries

The ATP World Tour Finals start tomorrow at the O2 Arena in London.
I have been a few times and it is a fantastic event. The doubles matches are just as good as the singles ones a lot of the time and the atmosphere is brilliant.

The semi finals of the ATP World Tour Finals happen today at the O2 Arena in London.
After a dramatic group phase we have Roger Federer v Rafael Nadal this afternoon and Novak Djokovuc v Stanislas Wawrinka this evening.
It has been a superb tournanent yet again. I have been a few times and the atmosphere is fantastic with the set up of the whole event really good also.
Cracking match between Federer and Del Potro yesterday went pretty much to the wire.
Should be superb entertainment again today.

was good to see Heather Watson come through qualifying to get to first round of Brisbane tournament, hopefully she is fully recovered from the glandular fever that affected her so much last year. Also was good to see Dan Evans coming through qualifying to get through to main draw in Doha. He plays Gulbis in first round, hopefully Eurosport covers that match

Tough draws for both Heather Watson and Laura Robson who face Daniela Hantuchova and Kirsten Flipkens respectively. As for the tournament itself I have to be rather boring with my predictions.
Nadal v Djokovic in the mens final.
Williams v Azarenka in the womens.
Rolleyes Rolleyes.

Both British woman Heather Watson and Laura Robson were knocked out on the first day of the championships

seems that lack of recent matches due to a wrist injury meant Laura looked very rusty and really apart from a spell in first set didn't compete as she can. Heather came through 3 rounds of qualifying and looks to be coming back to the form she had prior to her having glandular fever last year. Ironically the player she beat in final qualifying round got in as lucky loser and beat Medina Garrigues
