Si Jiahui is surprising me with his not being affected by the gravity of what he is achieving.
He does not seem remotely phased by what is going on out there.

Hmmmmmm Surprised.

The two semi finals are like night & day. Selby & Allen keep getting bogged down in long frames, perhaps they are showing each other too much respect ?

He has been a different since he played and won against the Fat boy in a final frame decider in Round 1 definately not playing with any pressure at the moment

the fact the other 2 are knocking lumps out of each other with long frames mean he could have a chance against either of them in the final ( Not tempting fate ) longer frames and a lot of playing

If Si wins tonight's session 6 - 2 he will win the match with a session to spare. If this afternoon's session is repeated tomorrow, Selby v Allen won't finish till 3 o'clock Sunday morning.

There are some days when things just don't go your way.
Brecel isn't having any luck at all, but Si isn't letting him have any.

Selby & Allen are playing like they're doing the final, since either will be the favourite on Sunday/Monday. Or should be, because if Si keeps on, they might be in for a rude awakening.

Credit to Brecel, his 5-frame comeback this evening had some outrageous potting in it, and probably had to to give him any chance.
