MNF
Jags 31 - 34 Bengals (O/T)
Another QB goes down, this time Lawrence, with an ankle injury, no news as yet of the severity.
Great stats for Browning in his 2nd start, who was aided by a productive running game & their defense held the Jags in check forcing 5 punts.

The AFC Playoff picture gets less clear by the minute.

Week 14
I expect the Steelers to get back on track against the woeful Pats.

Despite the Rams resurgence & a 3 game winning streak, the Ravens offense are scoring heavily, & a defense that doesn't yield many points, only one winner, but an intriguing match-up all the same.

The Bills are fighting for their lives, with almost ever game feeling like a Playoff battle. They have a tough remaining schedule, aside from the Pats, strangely the Chiefs game seems the next easiest, which is a measure of their struggles. Difficult to call this one.

You would assume a reaction from the Eagles after last week heavy defeat by the Niners, but the Cowboys are on a 4 game winning streak with Dak looking sublime. Dallas win for me.

The Packers should get an easy win against a Giants offense that struggles to put points on the board.

I believe that 1 off the presenter mentioned that there were $300 million dollars of starting quarterbacks currently the injured. (figure worked out off their signed contracts)

The same presenter was have a go at Taylor Swift. He was blaming her for the Chiefs poor form this year.

Has anyone else got the Dak Prescott pre-snap cadence buried into their brain. It so bad for me now that I can be going about my business at any time or place in the day & I get a YEAH HERE WE GO moment.RolleyesHuhannoyedBig Laugh

^ Here we go, here we go, here we go.

We've been singing a different version for years.

But Prescot's chant could just become viral Cool

Most of that is from Deshaun Watson's god awful contract Sad
The Trevor Lawrence injury just adds another big name to the pile

The Chiefs big issues is at Wide Receiver. They drop a lot of passes. Mahomes has a lot of passes on the money, and they just drop them
A lot of people over here are sick of the Taylor Swift coverage
I find some humor in it. Just adds another target to the hated Chiefs

^^ I can imagine the noise in the US is deafening around the Swift/Kelce circus, at least over here the coverage is mainly focused around Sport itself & hasn't flooded the general media. I haven't really picked up on the Chiefs being unpopular, I guess it goes with the territory of having a successful team. Mahomes has a persona that will get on some peoples nerves, he is confident to the point of being big headed. Despite the receiver troubles the Chiefs are always in the game, but they have to rely on the running game more than before, Pacheco is a weapon. They seem to have gone away from getting the ball into Kelce's hands 10+ times a game. That is all they have on offense

TNF
Steelers 18 - 21 Pats
Another game is decided on a questionable call, but Trubisky couldn't get the job done. the Pat came out the blocks early as Zappe threw 3 tds including 2 grabs for TE Hunter Henry all in the 1st half. Production dropped for the Pats in the 2nd half but the Steelers didn't take advantage. The false start penalty was actually the only one called all game against the Steelers, so as bad as it was they should have no complaints as the Pats were penalised 7 times.

Last nights result is good news for our Browns fan. Smile

Lot of people are really sick of Taylor Swift taking over the broadcasts. I think people over here and probably around the world just get tired of the same teams/players always being in the mix. LeBron and Brady have really dominated their sports as far as appearing in Championship Games. It comes with the territory.

With Mahomes, the game looks effortless. He's one of the most talented passers I've ever seen, and he's still young enough so he's going to be around the Super Bowl a lot the next decade.

Yes I was happy the Steelers lost. It was a bad flag against them on the false start. Two weeks in a row for them losing to 2 win teams. They might be in trouble.
