Jak Jones beat Si Jiahui 13-9. Jones has never been ranked higher than 35, but he is now 29th in the provisional rankings so he will end up in his highest ever position after the World Championships.

I hoped Si might rally some more after last night, but clearly he didn't.
Allen started well, but Higgins showed he's not finished yet.
Lisowski started impressively, but Bingham has since shown why he's the equal of Murphy for spoiling everyone's fun.
