RE: NFL 2024-2025 Season - Boomerangutangangbang - 14-10-2024 15:56 Giants 7 - 17 Bengals Curious game, some big plays but not so much in the way of points. The Giant D did a great job for the most part in keeping a rampant Burrow quiet, the Bengals just had enough to take the contest late in the 2nd half. From what I saw they were lucky (if that's possible after such a score) it wasn't even more - omg, they just seemed to have less and less ideas and got steamrollered. Cowboys have fallen off a cliff at home this season, very, very bad. RE: NFL 2024-2025 Season - Boomerangutangangbang - 15-10-2024 15:49 MNF Jets 20 - 23 Bills More incidents than I can recall, the Bills held a narrow 20-17 advantage at the half & had all the makings of a classic encounter when Rodgers hooked up with Lazard for a TD on a Hail Mary pass as time ran out in the half. What followed was a scrappy affair with both teams racking up 11 penalties apiece for a combined 200+ yards. RE: NFL 2024-2025 Season - Boomerangutangangbang - 18-10-2024 14:11 Saint 10 - 33 Broncos Two rookie QB's Bo Nix has started since week one, on the other hand Rattler was in only his 2nd start & doesn't quite look to have the players around to succeed. The Broncos defence looked really impressive & will cause better teams problems, which should aid Nix as he transitions into the pro game, the fact that he's had somewhere in the region of 60 college games reflects on his composure. The inability to establish a ground game added more pressure onto Rattler who fumbled twice 7 was sacked 6 times. the Broncos more than doubled the Saints rushing yards. RE: NFL 2024-2025 Season - Boomerangutangangbang - 20-10-2024 09:41 Week 7 Live Games Sky Sports NFL Lions @ Vikings 18.00 Chiefs @ 49ers 21.25 Jets @ Steelers 01.20 MNF Ravens @ Buccs 01.15 RE: NFL 2024-2025 Season - Boomerangutangangbang - 20-10-2024 10:00 I'm not buying the 1.5 favourite tap put on the 49ers. I expect much of that is down to homefield advantage. The Chief don't strike me as a team that are too concerned about playing away from home, they manage quite well in last years Playoffs. Both teams are not at their best, & have injuries. Mahomes has an ability to win close games whereas the 49ers have acquired a bad habit of gaining a lead only to lets the opposition back into the game. Biggest area for concern as a 49er fan is the number of players who have either left or are injured on defence. They coped admirably again the Seahawks last week, but the chiefs led by Mahomes is a different proposition. I can't see anything other than a Chiefs win. RE: NFL 2024-2025 Season - Charlemagne - 20-10-2024 14:49 After a good 10 point start, the Patriots have imploded conceeding 22 easy points to Jacksonville in the 1st half at Wembley.
