The top 3 now separated by just 1 point after another Leicester slip up last night. Are 4th placed Southampton too far back to make a late charge, with 2 games in hand they'd be 4 points behind, they will play their part with a visit to Elland Road on the final Saturday of the season.
As has been the case for most of the season it will be down to Leeds to lead the way with the 12.30 kick-off. The Blackburners are paying us a visit, I can think of at least one prominent forum member ;)who will be taking a keen interest. Important

Southampton still have to play Leicester too.

For Farke's Sake annoyed Bottom line is Leeds are playing poorly & have been for the last 5 or 6 matches, potentially they have waved goodbye to an automatic promotion place, & I wouldn't give them much chance in the Playoffs on present form. Still the chance of a few more twists & turns in the remaining matches.

I feel for all the top three in all honesty.
It's almost like they all have clinchers disease.
Finishing line in sight after a long hard struggle. Sometimes it is so easy to try too hard not to make mistakes rather than just do what got you into such a high position in the first place.
Ideally you want to run through the tape as opposed to stumble over the line.
But in such a high pressure situation daft things can happen. That's sport under pressure unfortunately.
Might be ok for some neutrals but horrible if you have a vested interest.
And just to throw a further spanner in the works if Southampton win their games in hand they are back in it as well.

Pleased for Portsmouth tonight.
League One champions after a 3-2 win at Fratton Park against Barnsley.

A few of the most inspiring people I have ever met are keen Pompey fans. I owe those people a huge debt of gratitude for personal reasons so I raise a glass to them and their club tonight. I have forged some genuine friendships with Pompey supporters and it's a club I hold in very high regard.

Many congratulations to them all.

Looks like it's a 3 horse race again in the Championship. Southampton loss to Cardiff has left em needing snookers.

Leicester have moved a step closer to automatic promotion with tonight 5-0 thrashing of Southampton, importantly it has given them an edge over Leeds with a superior goal difference.
