Storm was rank rotten again last night, it did nothing to give you the impression that all was right with the channel, yes I agree agree it was very commendable for Roxanna to come on and post her statement but yes I also have to laugh when something as cheap as a new mic can't be replaced. A lot of the thrill of phoning into the show is to get a shoutout on the mic for your troubles, I've also called the show in the past on a couple of occasions but right now I also wouldn't waste my money, the shows a lot of nights like last night were lethargic and never at any point did it cross my mind to pick up the phone in it's current state. I sincerely hope that Roxanna is correct in that Storm is going to get better but we need to see the evidence first before we can be convinced to think otherwise bladewave

Seems like it Doddle Smile

I guess its just something for them to pick on regardless of the good quality naked oil drenched shows we have been putting out. And believe me once Storm invests in a new decent mic suitable for broadcasting purposes (and it will probably cost slightly more than kindly offered Argos version-so they ain't in the rush to reserve one just yet, its out of stock anyway damn it Tongue) guys will just pick on something else...perhaps a curtain being a wrong colour?

I guess my point is proven that majority of you who moan about silly things like mic don't even bother calling...at the end of the day if you really must hear what girl has to say why not pick up the phone and call her? Believe me, you will hear much more interesting stuff then old boring shit like "Come on guys, give me a call", but i guess there is a fetish for everything laugh so forgive me if listening to a girl blabbing on a mic for couple of seconds is your "thang" Tongue

Anyway, I tried to highlight the important topics that have been brought up lately, such as quality of our working lifes at Storm and major improvements that are happening right now behind the scenes, but I absolutely REFUSE to get dragged into petty discussions.

Always yours,
Roxanna xxx

PS The Argos mic does look rather cute, does it come in red??? Big Laugh

I think most of the criticism (mostly constructive I feel) about Storm stems from frustation of expectations not lived up to. Expectations I add came from 'Storm' himself of big changes during the rebrand from Club Paradiso to Storm. None of which really materialised, maybe due to financial or regulation issues beyond their control. Hence left with very much with what went on before albeit touched up with a quick lick of paint. But I feel there are some things that are within their control they can change. I too have gone on about the 'petty Wink ' issue of the old CP mic. I've previously pointed out, as Scottishbloke did, that callers have failed to hear their shoutout because of it. It may be petty for some, but a big deal to the callers concerned. Static girls are another bug bear, and the likes of Ashley Emma on Elite gets it too, so it's not just a case of Storm being an easy target.

People just want to see Storm give the bigger channels a run for their money. And appreciate the feedback from Jamie and Roxanna giving their point of view from the working side. That's what a forum debate is all about.

For the record I haven't called Storm (or the channels generally) for a good while. Hannah Prentice and Roxy were the only ones I really gave a call to and they've both gone now Sad Maybe if things change will I be enticed to call again.

Yes totally agree with kerravon, Storm need's to start listening to the punters instead of allways coming out (parden the pun ) storming in defense, sure this channel has a future but it needs improvement. More movement from the model's would be nice as would more varying sets, take the swing set for example from last year, they quickly ditched that one which baffled me going by how popular it was, they need more top models, whoever was on last night was so dull, it did nothing to entice you to watch the show, let alone phone it. Just being honest here bladewave

True, also remember her doing some good work in the Gym set a couple of years ago.

For me at the moment Roxanna is the only reason to watch.

Some very eloquent replies from her on here as well.

I think this channel should rebrand itself to "Closed For The Summer"
Maybe then it can give itself time to to recruit a healthy roster of models to help lift it out of the doldrums, because barring a few exceptions this channels going nowhere.

RE: Storm - Chat & Discussion - docutech - 26-05-2012 21:20

I used to spend a lot of money with CP and Storm day shows the reason i gave up was nothing to do with the girls or outfits it was the can't be bothered attitude whether it be the dreadful mic, getting pressys to girls, lack of appreciation of regulars, promises on the web site things like this.

Not saying other channels are brilliant but they were the reasons I withdrew all my custom...makes me chuckle to still see these stories going round in circles....

ps though must admit the swing set actually made me feel a bit sick with motion sickness lol

The Storm cast list is actually rather good. Cali, Elle, Ashleigh, Roxanna and Sarah Louise are all babes that I really like. I just think Storm need to invest in some themed sets just to spice and mix things up a bit. Its just a way of enabling the babes to work to a theme and put on a slightly different show.

As part of any review of their output, may I also suggest they investigate the camera settings they use or indeed other video equipment that might be part of the process. Why ? Well for weeks now there's been interference on the video picture (but not on the advert graphics between the shows). It's like a wind storm cutting across at around 40degrees.

Difficult to really show this, but it's plain to see when you watch the show.

I agree, they do tend to have a strong cast list at Storm. That's one thing they are good at getting right.
